The world is gone.

But there are the remains of it.

Every week, a small but growing number of townspeople climb Service Hill, drawn by a strange new faith, by its promise and simple message, and by its charismatic leader.

It is a message of brotherhood, yet threatens the  lives of two young people reinventing electric power in a place that has nearly forgotten it.

Inevitably, the new faith finds its way into the City, salvaging the lost, yet shaking the established order without challenging a single authority.

But Service Hill has its own secrets. Like  how an institution can endure in spite of a crime that is never paid for.
